Abstract
A method is described for manufacturing a vehicle seat structure, a vehicle seat or a vehicle seat bench. A frame structure and reinforcement ribs and absorption ribs are formed on at least one back shell, whereby structural insertion components are arranged in or on the back shell and/or the frame structure.
Claims15
A method of manufacturing at least one of a vehicle seat structure, a vehicle seat and a vehicle seat bench, comprising:
- forming, on at least one back shell, a frame structure and reinforcement ribs on the front side in the direction of travel and absorption ribs on the back side in the direction of travel,
- whereby at least the back shell and the frame structure are connected to each other in a plastic to plastic manner by melting the surfaces and by a subsequent joining to an integrated structural component, and whereby structural insertion components are arranged in or on the back shell and/or the frame structure and are encased at least in areas by the thermoplastic plastic of the back shell and/or of the frame structure.
