Apparatus for estimating cut descriptive parameters in relation to digital cutting

An apparatus for estimating cut descriptive parameters in relation to digital cutting, by means of one or more digital cutting machineries, of one or more objects in a sheet material,

• said estimating apparatus ELM-comprising:
• an input module enabling a user to provide a set of object parameters to said estimating apparatus, said object parameters comprising geometric characteristics of said one or more objects to be cut by the one or more digital cutting machineries, a data storage for storage of information at least in relation to said one or more digital cutting machineries and information at least in relation to said sheet material,
• an estimating module for estimating said cut descriptive parameters by means of a data processor unit PU-based on said object parameters provided by a user and the stored information relating to the one or more digital cutting machineries CM and the stored information relating to the sheet material, and
• an output module for presenting said cut descriptive parameters to said user,
• said cut descriptive parameters being estimated based on a correlation of said object parameters, said information in relation to said one or more digital cutting machineries and said information in relation to said sheet material.
