Suture treatment method and suture construction/kit therrefor

A suture construction for suture-adorning a suture site, the suture construction comprising:

• a suture length, a visually perceptible suture width, and a plurality of braided suture strands, the suture length comprising a series of color-demarcated, transverse suture bands, the suture bands comprising non-uniform, varied band widths, the band widths sequentially summing to equal the suture length, the bands extending intermediate superficial suture incisions for exposing the visually perceptible suture widths of successive suture bands, the varied band widths for enabling varied exposure lengths across the skin wound site, the entire suture width of each suture band width comprising the selected singular suture color extending across the plurality of braided suture strands for adoring the suture site.

A suture kit, the suture kit for enabling a suture provider to adorn a suture site with patient-selected colored sutures, the suture kit comprising:

• a plurality of sutures, each suture comprising a suture length, a visually perceptible suture width, and a plurality of braided suture strands, the suture length comprising a series of color-demarcated, transverse suture bands, the suture bands comprising non-uniform, varied band widths, the band widths sequentially summing to equal the suture length, the bands extending intermediate superficial suture incisions for exposing the visually perceptible suture widths of successive suture bands, the varied band widths for enabling varied exposure lengths across the skin wound site, the entire suture width of each suture band width comprising selected singular suture color extending across the plurality of suture strands for adoring the suture site, the suture coloration comprising varying electromagnetic wavelengths, the varying electromagnetic wavelengths ranging from about 400 nm to about 700 nm.
