Disclosed is a fibrous formed article having excellent hydrophilicity, which contains a hydrophobic polymer and amphiphilic molecules and has an average fiber diameter of 0.05 to 50 μm, the amphiphilic molecules segregating to the fiber surface.

A fibrous formed article comprising a hydrophobic polymer and amphiphilic molecules,
- wherein the fibrous formed article has an average fiber diameter of 0.05 to 50 μm, and
- the amphiphilic molecules segregate to a fiber surface.
