Abstract
This invention relates to an agent which may be used to expel parasites from humans, mammals or birds. The agent of the invention may a vegetable product, Ferula Assafoetida, which is very effective in expelling parasites.

A method for expelling parasites comprising administering Ferula assafoetida (asafoetida), wherein the parasites are endoparasites in domestic animals, Equus or Suidae;
- human digestive tract endoparasites;
- or ectoparasites in humans, mammals or birds.
