A holder for a portable item example mobile phone, comprising an attachment device and a holding device linked by a resilient member. The holder comprises non-slip material and is shaped to securely retain the portable item in the holder whilst allowing the item to remain operable.

A holder for a small item example mobile phone, comprising
- an attachment device and
- a holding device linked by a resilient member,
- said item being securely mounted in said holding device wherein said holding device is formed from a non-slip material and is shaped so as to maximise the security of the holding device.
