An improved bar has been developed for current conduction. In particular, its cross-section has been designed to limit the quantity of material necessary to transmit a given rated current. The material is mainly located on the same side as the surface containing the connecting groove and the contact tracks. The use of this type of profile enables losses by Joule effect to be reduced, for an equivalent cross-section, and aluminium to be used for example for strong amperages. The solution enables fast erection and electric connection and is suitable for high-amperage and/or three-phase currents.
An electric conductor inscribed in a parallelepipedal envelope comprising recesses internal to the envelope of the conductor which extend over the length of the conductor, wherein the envelope of the recesses enables a curved surface extending over the length of the conductor to be defined, the intersection of which orthogonally to the length with the whole cross-section of the conductor forms a curved line which joins two adjacent corners of the rectangle forming the envelope of said cross-section so that the conductor comprises a first main part and a second complementary part, the envelope of the cross-section of the first part being formed by three sides of the rectangle and the curved line, and the envelope of the cross-section of the second part being formed by the fourth side of the rectangle and said line, the recesses being located in the second part.
An electric conductor inscribed in a parallelepipedal envelope comprising recesses internal to the envelope of the conductor which extend over the length of the conductor, wherein the envelope of the recesses enables a concave surface extending over the length of the conductor to be defined, each intersection of which orthogonally to the length with the whole cross-section of the conductor forms the same concave line which joins two adjacent corners of the rectangle forming the envelope of said cross-section so that the conductor comprises a first main part comprising at least 60% of the conducting material of the conductor and a second complementary part, the envelope of the cross-section of the first part being formed by three sides of the rectangle and the curved line, and the envelope of the cross-section of the second part being formed by the fourth side of the rectangle and said line, the recesses being located in the second part, and wherein each section of the second part comprises a substantially rectilinear strip closing the side defined by the two adjacent corners and connected from its central area to the main part by braces.
