A composition comprising a melted blend of polypropylene and an elastomeric block copolymer, and a plasticizer useful as an oral cleaning device. The elastomeric composition may be used as a dental floss.

An elastomeric dental floss composition comprising:
- a. a blend of an elastomeric block copolymer and polypropylene, wherein the elastomeric block copolymer comprises a styrene-ethylene/butylene-styrene block copolymer;
- and
- b. a plasticizer.
