Abstract
The disclosed method and device are directed to navigation, by a dual display communication device, through display objects.
Claims18
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by at least one of a gesture capture region and a touch sensitive display, a first gesture;
- and
- in response, moving, by processor-executable middleware, a first displayed image on a first touch sensitive display of a communication device to a second touch sensitive display of the communication device;
- while the first displayed image is being moved to the second touch sensitive display, receiving, by the at least one of a gesture capture region and a touch sensitive display, a second gesture;
- in response to the second gesture, retracting, by the processor-executable middleware, movement of the first displayed image and moving, by the processor-executable middleware, at least a second displayed image to the second touch sensitive display, wherein the first and second displayed images are at least one of a desktop and window of an application.

- receiving, by a gesture capture region, a drag gesture;
- in response, moving, by processor-executable middleware, a first window from a first touch sensitive display to a second touch sensitive display;
- while the first window is moving from the first to the second touch sensitive display, receiving, by the gesture capture region, a flick gesture;
- and
- in response, retracting, by the processor-executable middleware, movement of the first window and moving, by the processor-executable middleware, a second window from the first to the second touch sensitive display.

A dual display communication device, comprising:
- a gesture capture region to receive a flick gesture;
- and
- a first touch sensitive display to receive a flick gesture and display displayed images, wherein the displayed images are at least one of a desktop and window of an application;
- a second touch sensitive display to receive a flick gesture and display displayed images;
- middleware operable to perform at least one of the following operations:
- in response to a first gesture, move a first displayed image on the first touch sensitive display to the second touch sensitive display;
- while the first displayed image is being moved to the second touch sensitive display, receive notification of a second gesture;
- in response to receipt of notification of the second gesture, retract movement of the first displayed image and move at least a second displayed image to the second touch sensitive display, wherein the first and second displayed images are at least one of a desktop and window of an application.
