Termination-log acquiring program, termination-log acquiring device, and termination-log acquiring method

A termination-log acquiring device comprising:

• a first receiving unit that receives first start command information indicative of a command to start monitoring in response to a boot command issued by a user to boot a computer;
• an acquiring unit that acquires, when the first start command information is received, first time information, repeatedly at certain time intervals from basic software that operates on the computer;
• a storing unit that stores the first time information acquired repeatedly at the certain time intervals in a storage area;
• a second receiving unit that receives termination command information indicative of a command to terminate the basic software;
• and
• a log creating unit that
• when the received termination command information is information indicative of a command to terminate the basic software by using the basic software, stores normal termination information indicative of a normal termination in the storage area,
• when second start command information that is different from the first start command information is received, accesses the storage area,
• when the normal termination information is not stored in the storage area, acquires second time information from the basic software,
• compares the second time information with the first time information that is stored in the storage area, and
• creates, depending on a comparison result, log information that relates to a termination of the basic software.

A terminal device includes

• a processor;
• and
• a memory, wherein the processor executes:
• receiving first start command information indicative of a command to start monitoring in response to a boot command issued by a user to boot a computer;
• acquiring, when the first start command information is received, first time information, repeatedly at certain time intervals from basic software that operates on the computer;
• storing the first time information acquired repeatedly at the certain time intervals in the memory;
• receiving termination command information indicative of a command to terminate the basic software;
• when the received termination command information is information indicative of a command to terminate the basic software by using the basic software, storing normal termination information indicative of a normal termination in the memory;
• when second start command information that is different from the first start command information is received, accessing the memory;
• when the normal termination information is not stored in the memory, acquiring second time information from the basic software;
• comparing the second time information with the first time information that is stored in the memory;
• and
• creating, depending on a comparison result, log information that relates to a termination of the basic software.
