Aperiodic channel state information request in wireless communication

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• at least one processor configured to:
• receive a request for a channel state information (CSI) report on a component carrier of a plurality of component carriers, the request indicating a set of component carriers of the plurality of component carriers for which to provide the CSI report;
• and
• transmit the CSI report including feedback for each of the indicated component carriers in the set of component carriers;
• and
• memory coupled to the at least one processor.

An apparatus for wireless communication, comprising:

• at least one processor configured to:
• transmit a request for a channel state information (CSI) report on a component carrier of a plurality of component carriers, the request indicating a set of component carriers of the plurality of component carriers for which to receive the CSI report;
• and
• receive the CSI report including feedback for each of the indicated component carriers in the set of component carriers;
• and
• memory coupled to the at least one processor.

A computer program product, comprising:

• a computer-readable medium including instructions stored thereon for causing a computer to:
• receive a request for a channel state information (C SI) report on a component carrier of a plurality of component carriers, the request indicating a set of component carriers of the plurality of component carriers for which to provide the CSI report;
• and
• transmit the CSI report including feedback for each of the indicated component carriers in the set of component carriers.

A computer program product, comprising:

• a computer-readable medium including instructions stored thereon for causing a computer to:
• transmit a request for a channel state information (C SI) report on a component carrier of a plurality of component carriers, the request indicating a set of component carriers of the plurality of component carriers for which to receive the CSI report;
• and
• receive the CSI report including feedback for each of the indicated component carriers in the set of component carriers.
