Abstract
The present invention provides optical systems, devices and methods which utilize one or more electroactive polymer actuators to adjust an optical parameter of the optical device or system.
Claims2
A wafer lens system comprising:
- an image sensor fabricated on a first wafer;
- a lens unit comprising at least one lens positioned along a focal axis and coupled to the first wafer;
- and
- at least one electroactive polymer film coupled to the lens unit such that activation of the electroactive polymer translates the lens unit relative to the focal axis.
