Storage battery management system

A storage battery management system comprising:

• a plurality of storage systems each configured to be capable of charging/discharging power;
• a receiver configured to receive a discharge request and a charge request;
• a management unit configured to set a storage system in the storage systems to a charge mode when the storage system has a charge level less than a first threshold value, and to set a storage system in the storage systems to a discharge mode when the storage system has the charge level larger than the second threshold value which is larger than the first threshold value, the charge level showing a proportion of remaining capacity to a total capacity;
• a controller configured to determine to discharge a storage system having a largest charge level in the storage systems in the discharge mode when receiving the discharge request, and to charge a storage system having a smallest charge level in the storage systems in the charge mode when receiving the charge request;
• a discharger configured to discharge the storage system determined to be discharged;
• and
• a charger configured to charge the storage system determined to be charged.

A storage battery management system comprising:

• a plurality of storage systems each configured to be capable of charging/discharging power;
• a management controller to be configured to perform:
• sequentially selecting each of the storage systems;
• setting the selected storage system to a charge mode when a charge level showing a proportion of remaining capacity to a total capacity of the selected storage system is less than a first threshold value;
• setting the selected storage system to a discharge mode when the charge level of the selected storage system is larger than the second threshold value which is larger than the first threshold value;
• checking whether the number of storage systems set to the charge mode up to the present is less than Mc_max (Mc_max is an integer of 1 or greater) when the charge level of the selected storage system is equal to or greater than the first threshold value and equal to or less than the second threshold value;
• setting the selected storage system to the charge mode in the case of less than the Mc_max;
• checking whether the number of storage systems set to the discharge mode up to the present is less than Md_max (Md_max is an integer of 1 or greater) in the case of equal to or greater than the Mc_max;
• and
• setting the selected storage system to the discharge mode in the case of less than the Md_max and to a wait mode in the case of equal to or greater than the Md_max;
• a select charger configured to simultaneously charge the storage systems set to the charge mode by the management controller;
• and
• a select discharger configured to simultaneously discharge the storage systems set to the discharge mode by the management controller.
