Abstract
A dual portion blanket comprising: a first portion, where said first portion includes a double layer of blanketing; and a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing. In one particular embodiment, the first portion includes a side opening on each thereof.

A dual portion blanket comprising:
- a. a first portion, where said first portion includes a double layer of blanketing and extends between the sides of the blanket;
- and
- b. a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing, wherein the first portion adds additional warmth for exclusively at least one of a an upper torso of an user and lower limbs of the user.

- a. a head portion where said head portion exclusively covers an user's upper torso during use of the blanket and said head portion includes a double layer of blanketing and extends between the sides of the blanket;
- and
- b. a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing.

- a. a foot portion where said foot portion exclusively covers an user's lower limbs during use of the blanket and said foot portion includes a double layer of blanketing and extends between the sides of the blanket;

- b. a second portion, where said second portion includes a single layer of blanketing.
