Method for providing search service convertible between search window and image display window and display apparatus applying the same

An apparatus comprising:

• a display unit that displays an image;
• and
• a controller that controls a search window configured for an Internet search to be displayed on a partial area of a screen of the display unit and, in response to receiving a specific manipulation input by a user, converts the search window into an image display window for displaying the image on the partial area of the screen.

A computer-readable medium configured to perform a set of operations based on a corresponding set of instructions contained in the computer-readable medium, the instructions comprising:

• displaying a search window configured for an Internet search on a partial area of a screen;
• and
• in response to receiving a specific manipulation input by a user, converting the search window into an image display window for displaying an image on the partial area of the screen.
