Myofascial strap

A method for contacting a medical device to a patient, said method comprising:

• providing a strap including a retainer portion, a base portion, a foam layer, and a fabric layer, the foam layer having an elasticity greater than the fabric layer;
• providing a medical device;
• contacting the medical device to a patient;
• contacting the medical device to the foam layer of the strap;
• and
• retaining the medical device against the patient by connecting the retainer portion of the strap to the fabric layer of the strap.

A method of treating a patient with a strap, said method comprising:

• providing a strap including:
• a foam layer, the foam layer being substantially elastic and including a first end and a second end,
• a fabric layer, the fabric layer being substantially elastic and being secured adjacent to the foam layer, the foam layer having an elasticity greater than an elasticity of the fabric layer, and
• a hook fastener, the hook fastener being adjacent to the first end, the hook fastener comprising an array of hooks;
• contacting a body portion of a patient with the foam layer;
• and
• retaining the strap against the body portion by connecting the hook fastener to the fabric layer.
