Abstract
A power supply circuit for an electrical appliance, including a turning-on stage configured for determining a transition from a turned-off state, in which the power supply circuit is off and does not supply electric power, to a turned-on state of the power supply circuit. The turning-on stage includes a transducer of the remote-control type configured for triggering the transition in response to the reception of a wireless signal.
Claims21
A power supply circuit for an electrical appliance, comprising a turning-on stage configured for determining a transition from a turned-off state, wherein said power supply circuit is off and does not supply electric power, to a turned-on state of said power supply circuit wherein the turning-on stage comprises a transducer, of a remote-controlled type, configured for triggering the transition in response to a reception of a wireless signal.
A method of supplying an electrical appliance, comprising a step of turning-on a power supply circuit from a turned-off state, in which the power supply circuit is disconnected from a supply input, to a turned-on state, in which the power supply circuit is connected to the supply input, wherein the turning-on step comprises the steps of:
- receiving a wireless signal by means of a transducer of a remote-controlled type;
- switching on the transducer in response to the wireless signal;
- and
- coupling the supply input to the power supply circuit.
