A fusion polypeptide comprising a first polypeptide operably linked to a second polypeptide wherein the first polypeptide carries at least one glycan selected from the group consisting of:
- a) a Siaα3Galβ4GlcNAcβ glycan,
- b) a Siaα3Galβ3GlcNAcβ glycan,
- c) a Siaα6Galβ4GlcNAcβ glycan,
- d) a Siaα6Galβ3GlcNAcβ glycan,
- e) a Fucα2Galβ3GalNAcα glycan
- f) a Fucα2Galβ3GlcNAcβ glycan and
- g) a Fucα2Galβ4GlcNAcβ glycan,
- and the second polypeptide comprises at least a region of an immunoglobulin polypeptide.
