Image display apparatus, electronic apparatus, image display system, image acquisition method and program

An electronic apparatus, comprising:

• an image pickup section adapted to pick up an image;
• an image display section including a plurality of pixels arrayed therein and each including a display element, said image display section having said image pickup section arranged on the rear face side thereof, said image display section further including a light transmitting part provided in a region thereof corresponding to said image pickup section;
• and
• a noise suppression processing unit adapted to carry out, for image information acquired by said image pickup section through said light transmitting part, a reflection noise suppression process for suppressing a reflection component of a display image on said image display section to the picked up image.

An electronic apparatus, comprising:

• an image pickup section adapted to pick up an image;
• an image display section including a plurality of pixels arrayed therein and each including a display element, said image display section having said image pickup section arranged on the rear face side thereof, said image display section further including a light transmitting part provided in a region thereof corresponding to said image pickup section;
• and
• a timing control section adapted to control a display timing by said image display section and an image pickup timing by the image pickup section so that a reflection component, to a picked up image, of a displayed image by the image display section which may possibly be included in image information acquired by the image pickup section through said light transmitting part may be suppressed.

An image display system, comprising:

• an image pickup apparatus adapted to pick up an image;
• an image display apparatus including an image display section including a plurality of pixels arrayed therein and each including a display element, said image display section allowing said image pickup apparatus to be arranged on the rear face side thereof, said image display section further including a light transmitting part provided in a region thereof corresponding to said image pickup apparatus;
• and
• a noise suppression processing unit adapted to carry out, for image information acquired by said image pickup apparatus through said light transmitting part, a reflection noise suppression process for suppressing a reflection component of a display image on said image display section to the picked up image.

An image display system, comprising:

• an image pickup apparatus adapted to pick up an image;
• an image display apparatus including an image display section including a plurality of pixels arrayed therein and each including a display element, said image display section allowing said image pickup apparatus to be arranged on the rear face side thereof, said image display section further including a light transmitting part provided in a region thereof corresponding to said image pickup apparatus;
• and
• a timing control section adapted to control a display timing by said image display section and an image pickup timing by said image pickup apparatus so that a reflection component, to a picked up image, of a displayed image by said image display section which may possibly be included in image information acquired by said image pickup apparatus through said light transmitting part may be suppressed.

An image acquisition method, comprising:

• displaying an image on an image display section including a plurality of pixels arrayed therein and each including a display element, the image display section allowing an image pickup section for image pickup to be arranged on the rear face side thereof, the image display section further including a light transmitting part provided in a region thereof corresponding to the image pickup section;
• picking up an image of an image pickup object on the display face side of the image display section through the light transmitting part by means of the image pickup section to acquire image information;
• and
• carrying out, for the acquired image information, a reflection noise suppression process for suppressing a reflection component of a display image on the image display section to the image information picked up by the image pickup section.

An image acquisition method, comprising:

• displaying an image on an image display section including a plurality of pixels arrayed therein and each including a display element, the image display section allowing an image pickup section for image pickup to be arranged on the rear face side thereof, the image display section further including a light transmitting part provided in a region thereof corresponding to the image pickup section;
• picking up an image of an image pickup object on the display face side of the image display section through the light transmitting part by means of the image pickup section to acquire image information;
• and
• controlling a display timing by the image display section and an image pickup timing by the image pickup section so that a reflection component, to a pickup image, of a displayed image by the image display section which may possibly be included in image information acquired by the image pickup section through the light transmitting part may be suppressed.
