A reciprocating device, comprising: a motor; at least one crank mechanism attached to the motor; at least one rod attached to the crank mechanism; and at least one sleeve surrounding at least a portion of the at least one rod, adapted to dampen optional vibrations of the rod.

- a diaphragm for covering the second aperture;
