Abstract
A method for treating allergy with a pharmaceutical composition containing a detoxified E. coli heat-labile enterotoxin, and, optionally, an allergen.

A method for treating allergy, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a detoxified E. coli heat-labile enterotoxin (LT) in an amount effective for inducing an anti-allergic response in the subject, wherein the detoxified LT exhibits substantially reduced toxicity as compared to its wild-type counterpart.
