Abstract
A vehicle substructure includes a side member inner 30 that becomes a pillar member, a rear side member 4, and a side member outer 1. The vehicle substructure includes, for example, a partition 2 as a load transmitting member that is inserted between the side member inner 30 and the rear side member 4 and comes into contact with the wall surface of the side member outer 1 facing a vehicle compartment. It is preferable that the partition 2 have a laminated structure including members 21 and 22 and the like. Further, it is more preferable that the vehicle substructure include reinforcing members 50 and 51.

A vehicle substructure that includes a pillar member, a rear side member, and a side member outer, comprising:
- a load transmitting member that is inserted between the pillar member and the rear side member and comes into contact with a wall surface of the side member outer facing a vehicle compartment.
