Abstract
In a flat panel display device according to the present invention, a stand is made up of a base part and a supporting column part erected on the base part, and the stand is fastened to a device main body in a state where a front surface of the supporting column part of the stand opposes a rear surface of the device main body. An approximately horizontal receiving surface for receiving a bottom surface of the device main body is formed more forward than the front surface on the supporting column part of the stand.

A flat panel display device comprising a device main body with a built-in flat-screen display panel, and a stand which is mounted at a bottom of the device main body and which enables the device main body to be self-standing, wherein the stand is made up of a base part and a supporting column part erected on the base part, the stand is fastened to the device main body in a state where a front surface of the supporting column part of the stand opposes a rear surface of the device main body, and a receiving surface for receiving a bottom surface of the device main body is formed more forward than the front surface on the supporting column part of the stand.
