Method and device for printing a scheduled print job

A method of a printing device for outputting a scheduled print job, comprising:

• receiving, by the printing device, a request to print the scheduled print job, the scheduled print job including print data and schedule data corresponding to a scheduled time the print data is to be printed;
• storing, in a memory of the printing device, the scheduled print job;
• executing, by the printing device, the scheduled print job at the scheduled time;
• determining, by the printing device, whether the scheduled print job was outputted successfully at the scheduled time;
• and
• sending, by the printing device, a message indicating whether the scheduled print job was outputted successfully, based on the determining step, to a predetermined device.

A printing device, comprising:

• means for receiving a request to print the scheduled print job, the scheduled print job including print data and schedule data corresponding to a scheduled time the print data is to be printed;
• a memory configured to store the scheduled print job;
• means for executing the scheduled print job at the scheduled time;
• means for determining whether the scheduled print job was outputted successfully at the scheduled time;
• and
• means for sending a message indicating whether the scheduled print job was outputted successfully, based on the determination by the means for determining, to a predetermined device.
