The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions and methods for the treatment of diabetes, obesity or disorders related to diabetes or obesity. The compositions comprise a combination of a selective PPARγ modulator and an incretin. The methods include the administration of the combination of a selective PPARγ modulator and an incretin.

A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of formula (I):

A method of treating a condition selected from the group consisting of diabetes, obesity, or a disorder related to diabetes or obesity, comprising administering to a subject in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of a compound of formula (I):

- and a therapeutically effective amount of an incretin.
A pharmaceutical composition comprising a selective modulator of PPARγ and an incretin.
