Abstract
The invention relates to a bone plate assembly comprising a bone plate and a plurality of bone screws for compressing and locking fractured bone fragments to bone plate.
Claims20
A bone plate assembly comprising a bone plate and bone screws wherein:
- (a) said bone plate comprises a plurality of holes to receive bone screws, at least one said hole being a combination hole,
- (b) said bone screws comprise at least one combination bone screw having a tip for the compression and stabilization of fragments of a fractured bone;
- and
- (c) said bone plate assembly further comprises at least one drill guide releasably coupled to at least one hole of said bone plate to determine a position of said bone screws.
