Abstract
A cryosurgical instrument, in which a separator is installed in a central feeding lumen and/or in a cryotip to separate gaseous and liquid components of a cryogen.
Claims13
A cryosurgical instrument operating with a supplied gaseous-liquid mixture of a cryogen, said cryosurgical instrument comprising:
- an external shaft;
- a cryotip joined with a distal edge of said external shaft;
- and
- a separation unit for separating of a gaseous component of the cryogen from a liquid component of the cryogen, being situated at least partially in an internal space of said cryotip.
