The invention relates to a glass sheet, the composition of which is of the soda-lime-silica type and comprises the following constituents in contents varying within the weight limits defined below: Fe2O3 (total iron) 0 to 0.02%; and K2O 1.5 to 10%.

A glass sheet having been obtained by a float process on a bath of molten tin, the chemical composition of which is of the soda-lime-silica type and comprises the following constituents in contents varying within the weight limits defined below:
- Fe2O3 (total iron)
- 0 to 0.02%;
- and
- K2O
- 1.5 to 10%.
