Leg Gloves with Downward Diagonal Facing Pocket Openings

A leg glove to be worn above a knee on a lower thigh of a leg of a jumper, and temporarily worn on a hand of at least one lifter, said hand comprising a thumb, palm, and fingers, including an index finger,

• said leg glove comprising a single piece of flexible, elastic material, having a predetermined shape and a predetermined size configured to match the shape and size of the lower thigh of the jumper,
• wherein the elastic material is folded forming a base layer and a pocket layer,
• wherein the base layer and the pocket layer are attached with a pocket attachment having a first diagonal direction configured to match a shape of the hand along the palm and index finger,
• wherein the base layer and the pocket layer are attached with a base attachment having a direction similar to the first diagonal direction, configured to match a lower edge of the hand,
• wherein the predetermined shape and the pocket attachment and the base attachment form at least one downward facing diagonal pocket opening,
• wherein two other edges of the predetermined shape are attached with a conical attachment forming the base layer in a conical section, configured to match the shape and size of the lower thigh, and
• wherein, when the jumper wearing the leg glove is jumping, the hand of the at least one lifter, is placed inside the pocket opening with the fingers in the pocket opening and the palm and thumb against the lower thigh.

A method of constructing a leg glove to be worn above a knee on a lower thigh of a leg of a jumper, and temporarily worn on a hand of at least one lifter,

• the method comprising the steps of:
• a) providing a single piece of flexible, elastic material, having a predetermined shape and a predetermined size configured to match the shape and size of the lower thigh of the jumper,
• b) folding the single piece of flexible, elastic material and aligning two edges such that a base layer and a partially overlapping pocket layer are formed, wherein diagonal pocket openings are formed,
• c) attaching the base layer and the pocket layer with a base attachment,
• d) forming a conical shape by attaching the other edges of the single piece of flexible, elastic material with a conical attachment, wherein the conical shape is configured to match the shape of the lower thigh of the jumper, and
• e) holding open the pocket openings by forming a pocket attachment, the pocket attachment having a first diagonal direction configured to match a shape of the hand along the palm and index finger, forming at least one downward facing diagonal pocket opening,
• wherein, the leg glove is configured such that when the jumper wearing the leg glove is jumping, the hand of the at least one lifter, is placed inside the pocket opening with the fingers in the pocket opening and the palm and thumb against the lower thigh.
