Abstract
The present invention relates to a covering material (4) comprising a first layer (1) and a second layer (2), in which the first layer (1) and the second layer (2) are joined together, and in which the first layer (1) consists of a spacer knitwear, a spacer fabric or a foam material which is permeable to water and water vapour, and the second layer (2) is water-impermeable and water vapour permeable.

Covering material comprising a first layer and a second layer, where the first layer and the second layer are joined together, wherein the first layer is selected from spacer knitwear, spacer fabric, or foam material which is permeable to water and water vapor, and wherein the second layer is water-impermeable and water vapor permeable, said covering material having a water vapor permeability greater than 1,250 g/m2/24 h.
