Abstract
The invention discloses a pharmaceutical composition useful for treatment and prevention of medical disorders and ailments. The aforesaid composition comprises active ingredients comprising; Turmeric extract, Turmeric powder, Selenium or source of Selenium, especially Selenomethionine, and Green tea extract. The disclosed pharmaceutical composition is especially adapted for treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and colorectal cancer (CRC).
Claims32
A pharmaceutical composition consisting of natural ingredients, said pharmaceutical composition is useful for treatment and prevention of medical disorders and ailments, said medical disorders and ailments are selected from a group consisting of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and colorectal cancer (CRC), said composition comprising;
- b. a turmeric based first active ingredient comprising;
- i. Turmeric extract;
- and,
- ii. Turmeric powder;
- and,
- b. a second non turmeric based active ingredient, wherein said second active ingredient comprises a selenium element selected from a group consisting of Selenium, source of Selenium, and Selenomethionine;
- and a Green tea extract.
A method for treating and preventing medical disorders and ailments selected from a group consisting of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and colorectal cancer (CRC), said method comprises steps of;
- a. obtaining a pharmaceutical composition consisting of natural ingredients, comprising;
- i. a turmeric based first active ingredient, comprising Turmeric extract and Turmeric powder;
- and,
- ii. a second non turmeric based active ingredient, wherein said second active ingredient comprises Green tea extract;
- and, a Selenium element selected from a group consisting of Selenium, source of Selenium and Selenomethionine;
- and,
- b. administering said pharmaceutical composition to a patient according to a predetermined protocol.
