Abstract
The present inventors discovered that the PepT-binding antibodies have the ability to inhibit the transport activity of peptide transporters, as a result of dedicated research. These antibodies may be utilized as cell growth inhibitors, for example, for treating and preventing cancer.
Claims28
An isolated antibody, or fragment thereof, that
- (a) binds to a peptide transporter and
- (b) inhibits peptide uptake into a cell expressing the peptide transporter,
- wherein the antibody is a monoclonal or genetically engineered recombinant antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof.
An isolated antibody, or fragment thereof, that
- (a) binds to a peptide transporter and
- (b) inhibits the growth of a cell,
- wherein the antibody is a monoclonal or genetically engineered recombinant antibody, or antigen-binding fragment thereof.
