Abstract
The present invention relates to a goethite nanotube. Particularly, the present invention is directed to goethite nanotubes, which can be used as a catalyst relating to environment or a drug delivery system, and process for preparing the goethite nanotube, and process for preparing magnetite and hematite nanoparticles.

A Goethite nanotube.
A process for preparing goethite nanotubes, comprising:
- reacting a reverse micelle mixture of organic solvent, iron-surfactant complex, surfactant and water with a reductant.
A process for preparing magnetite nanoparticles, comprising:
- reacting a reverse micelle mixture of organic solvent, iron-surfactant complex, surfactant and water with a reductant.
A process for preparing hematite nanoparticles, comprising:
- reacting a reverse micelle mixture of organic solvent, iron-surfactant complex, surfactant and water with an oxidant.
