Abstract
A radio frequency coil assembly is provided that includes a first radio frequency coil for receiving a magnetic resonance signal from a tested body; a second radio frequency coil for receiving a magnetic resonance signal from the tested body; and a third radio frequency coil for receiving a magnetic resonance signal from the tested body and having a shape that is different from that of at least one of the first and second radio frequency coils so as to increase local sensitivity in an image-picked-up region.
Claims15
A radio frequency coil assembly comprising:
- two outer loop coils;
- and
- two inner loop coils arranged between said two outer loop coils in an array direction,
- wherein each of said two inner loop coils has a loop plane size in the array direction smaller than that of each of said two outer loop coils, center axes of the four loop coils being disposed in a straight line in the array direction.
A radio frequency coil assembly comprising:
- two outer coil elements;
- and
- two inner coil elements arranged between said two outer coil elements in an array direction,
- wherein each of said two inner coil elements has an array direction dimension smaller than that of each of said two outer coil elements, center axes of the four coil elements being linearly disposed in the array direction.
