Method for ensuring synchronous presentation of additional data with audio data

An apparatus for reproducing main data and additional data, the apparatus comprising:

• a retrieving unit configured to retrieve a main data stream, an additional data stream and management information, the main data stream including the main data, the additional data stream including the additional data associated with the main data, and the management information corresponding to the main data and including indication information and attribute information;
• a reproducing unit configured to reproduce the main data and the additional data;
• and
• a controller configured to:
• associate the main data with the additional data using the management information, and
• control the reproducing unit to reproduce the additional data according to the attribute information, and reproduce the additional data in a synchronous manner with the main data based on time information associated with presentation time of the additional data, the indication information indicating a presence of the time information.
