A disposable wearable absorbent article, comprising:
- a visual wetness indicating area configured to change to a subsequent visual state when indicating the presence of a bodily exudate;
- a male indicium configured to visually indicate male gender;
- and
- a female indicium configured to visually indicate female gender.

- a first disposable wearable absorbent article including a first visual wetness indicating area and a male indicium configured to visually indicate male gender;
