Claims4
1-41. (canceled)
A chimeric δ-endotoxin protein comprising an amino acid sequence that is identical to amino acids 530-641 of SEQ ID NO:1, said chimeric protein having greater toxicity than Cry1C as determined by EC50 in a challenge to neonatal Spodoptera litura larvae.
A chimeric δ-endotoxin protein comprising an amino acid sequence that is at least 95% identical to amino acids 1-641 of SEQ ID NO:1, said protein having a sequence identical to amino acids 530-641 of SEQ ID NO:1, said chimeric protein having greater toxicity than Cry1C as determined by EC50 in a challenge to neonatal Spodoptera litura larvae.
