Abstract
An access point detects a presence of a first device having a device identifier in a femtozone associated with the access point. The access point matches the device identifier with an identifier associated with corresponding applications and activates a set of applications associated with the device identifier.
Claims20
A method performed by an access point, comprising;
- detecting a presence of a first device having a device identifier in a femtozone associated with the access point;
- matching the device identifier with an identifier associated with corresponding applications;
- and
- activating a set of applications associated with the device identifier.
A computer program product, tangibly embodied in a computer-readable storage medium, for causing a processor to:
- detect a presence of a device having a device identifier in a femtozone associated with the access point;
- match the device identifier with an identifier associated with corresponding applications;
- and
- activate a set of applications associated with the device identifier.
An apparatus, comprising:
- an access point associated with a Femto zone;
- a detector configured to detect a device in the Femto zone, the Femto zone being associated with a device identifier that matches an identifier in the Femto zone;
- and
- a processor configured to activate a set of software applications in response to detection of the device.
A method performed by an access point, comprising:
- detecting a presence of a first device having a device identifier in a Femto zone associated with the access point;
- matching the device identifier with an identifier associated with an auxiliary application;
- activating the auxiliary application associated with the identifier that interacts with one or more device applications;
- and
- creating a data connection between the auxiliary application and the first device.
A computer program product, tangibly embodied in a computer-readable storage medium, for causing a processor to:
- detect a presence of a device having a device identifier in a Femto zone associated with the access point;
- match the device identifier with an identifier associated with an auxiliary application;
- activate the auxiliary application associated with the identifier that interacts with one or more device applications;
- and
- create a data connection between the auxiliary application and the device.
An apparatus, comprising:
- an access point associated with a Femto zone;
- a detector configured to detect a device associated with a device identifier matching an identifier in the Femto zone;
- a processor configured to activate an auxiliary application associated with the identifier that interacts with one or more device applications;
- and
- a processor configured to create a data connection between the auxiliary application and the device.
