Abstract
A video display apparatus includes: a tuner configured to receive a digital broadcast signal; an accepting module configured to accept a power-on command; a display module configured to simultaneously display first information that is included in the digital broadcast signal and second information that is not included in the digital broadcast signal when the accepting module accepts the power-on command.

A video display apparatus comprising:
- a tuner configured to receive a digital broadcast signal;
- an accepting module configured to accept a power-on command;
- and
- a display module configured to simultaneously display first information that is included in the digital broadcast signal and second information that is not included in the digital broadcast signal when the accepting module accepts the power-on command.
