Liquid container

A liquid container detachably mountable to a mounting portion of a recording apparatus, said liquid container comprising:

• a first surface located at a bottom side of said liquid container in a state where a mounting of said liquid container to the mounting portion is completed;
• a second surface located at a upper side of said liquid container in the state;
• a latching lever having an engaging portion engageable with a locking portion provided in the mounting portion;
• a third surface located at a neighbor of the engaging portion;
• a fourth surface located on opposite side of the third surface two side surfaces wherein said first surface, said second surface, said third surface and fourth surface are connected by said two side surfaces;
• a liquid supply port provided in the first surface and configured to supply liquid to a recording head provided in the recording apparatus;
• an information storage medium storing information relating to said liquid container;
• an electrical contact configured to electrically connect to an electrical connector provided in said mounting portion, the electrical contact being electrically connected said information storage medium;
• and
• a substrate having said electrical contact and said information storage medium, the substrate being located at a portion different from the first, second, third, fourth and side surfaces so that said substrate is inclined relative to the first, second, third, fourth and side surfaces in the state.

A liquid container detachably mountable to a mounting portion of a recording apparatus, said liquid container comprising:

• a first surface located at a bottom side of said liquid container in a state where a mounting of said liquid container to the mounting portion is completed;
• a second surface located at a upper side of said liquid container in the state;
• a latching lever having an engaging portion engageable with a locking portion provided in the mounting portion;
• a third surface located at a neighbor of the engaging portion;
• a fourth surface located on opposite side of the third surface two side surfaces wherein said first surface, said second surface, said third surface and fourth surface are connected by said two side surfaces;
• a liquid supply port provided in the first surface and configured to supply liquid to a recording head provided in the recording apparatus;
• an information storage medium storing information relating to said liquid container;
• an electrical contact configured to electrically connect said information storage medium to an electrical connector provided in said mounting portion;
• and
• a substrate having said electrical contact and said information storage medium and being located at a portion different from the first, second, third, fourth and side surfaces, the portion being positioned at a neighborhood of the first surface and being inclined relative to the first surface,
• wherein the mounting of said liquid container to the mounting portion is completed when the engaging portion is engaged with the locking portion by a downward movement of said liquid container in a condition in which the engaging portion is not engaged with the locking portion.

A liquid container detachably mountable to a mounting portion of a recording apparatus, said liquid container comprising:

• a first surface located at a bottom side of said liquid container in a state where a mounting of said liquid container to the mounting portion is completed;
• a second surface located at a upper side of said liquid container in the state;
• a latching lever having an engaging portion engageable with a locking portion provided in the mounting portion;
• a third surface located at a neighbor of the engaging portion;
• a fourth surface located on opposite side of the third surface two side surfaces wherein said first surface, said second surface, said third surface and fourth surface are connected by said two side surfaces;
• a liquid supply port provided in the first surface and configured to supply liquid to a recording head provided in the recording apparatus;
• an information storage medium storing information relating to said liquid container;
• an electrical contact configured to electrically connect said information storage medium to an electrical connector provided in said mounting portion;
• and
• a substrate having said electrical contact and said information storage medium and being located at a portion different from the first, second, third, fourth and side surfaces, the portion being positioned above the first surface in the state,
• wherein the mounting of said liquid container to the mounting portion is completed when the engaging portion is engaged with the locking portion by a downward movement of said liquid container in a condition in which the engaging portion is not engaged with the locking portion.
