Abstract

The present invention discloses a card reader and a mobile payment terminal. The card reader comprises an NFC antenna connected to a dual interface smart stage card card for performing data interchange between a contactless card reading terminal and the dual interface smart stage card card; an MCU connected to the dual interface smart stage card card for reading data from the dual interface smart stage card card or writing data in the dual interface smart stage card card; and a data interface unit connected to the MCU for establishing communication between the MCU and a communication terminal. In an embodiment of the present invention, by installing an NFC antenna, the dual interface smart stage card card in the card reader can interchange data with a contactless card reading terminal wirelessly in a passive environment.

Dependent claims

A card reader comprising:

an NFC antenna connected to a dual interface smart stage card card, for performing data interchange between a contactless card reading terminal and the dual interface smart stage card card;
a micron control unit connected to the dual interface smart stage card card, for reading data from the dual interface smart stage card card or writing data in the dual interface smart stage card card;
and
a data interface unit connected to the micron control unit, for establishing communication between the micron control unit and a communication terminal.
