Abstract
This disclosure related to a heater. The heater includes a carbon nanotube composite structure and at least two electrodes connected to the carbon nanotube composite structure. The carbon nanotube composite structure defines a hollow space. The carbon nanotube composite structure includes a matrix and at least one carbon nanotube film. The at least one carbon nanotube film includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes entangled with each other.
Claims20
An apparatus comprising a hollow heater, the hollow heater comprising:
- a carbon nanotube composite structure, the carbon nanotube composite structure defining a hollow space;
- and the carbon nanotube composite structure comprises of a matrix and at least one carbon nanotube film, the matrix and the at least one carbon nanotube film are in contact with each other, and the at least one carbon nanotube film comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes entangled with each other;
- and
- at least two electrodes electrically connected to the carbon nanotube composite structure.
A hollow heater comprising:
- a hollow supporter, the hollow supporter defining a hollow space, the hollow supporter having a cylinder structure with an outer circumferential surface and an inner circumferential surface;
- a carbon nanotube composite structure is attached to surface of the hollow supporter, the carbon nanotube composite structure comprising a matrix and at least a carbon nanotube film, comprising of a plurality of carbon nanotubes entangled with each other, and
- at least two electrodes electrically connected to the at least one carbon nanotube film.
A hollow heater comprising:
- a hollow hemispherical supporter, the hollow hemispherical supporter defines a hollow space and has an inner surface and an outer surface;
- a carbon nanotube composite structure, the carbon nanotube composite structure disposed on the outer surface of hollow the hollow hemispherical supporter, the carbon nanotube composite structure comprises of a matrix and at least a carbon nanotube film comprising a plurality of carbon nanotubes entangled with each other;
- a heating-reflecting layer, the heat-reflecting layer disposed on an outer surface of the carbon nanotube composite structure;
- a first electrode positioned at a lowest point of the carbon nanotube composite structure;
- and
- a second electrode encircles the carbon nanotube composite structure.
