Abstract
A heat sink includes a heat conducting base, a heat conducting shaft thermally connected to and rotating with respect to the base, and a plurality of fins. The shaft includes a heat absorbing section thermally connected to the base and a heat dissipating section connected with the heat absorbing section. The fins are disposed on the heat dissipating section of the shaft.
Claims20
A heat sink comprising:
- a heat conducting base for contacting with a heat-generating electronic component;
- a heat conducting shaft thermally connected to and rotating with respect to the base, the shaft comprising a heat absorbing section thermally connected to the base and a heat dissipating section connected with the heat absorbing section;
- and
- a plurality of fins disposed on the heat dissipating section of the shaft.

A heat sink comprising:
- a heat conducting base comprising a bottom surface contacting with a heat-generating electronic element, a first side surface and a second side surface opposite to the first side surface, the base defining an aperture extending through the first and second side surfaces;
- a motor located adjacent to the second side surface of the base;
- a heat conducting sleeve extending through the aperture of the base and connecting to the motor, the sleeve comprising a heat absorbing part rotatablely engaging with the base and a heat dissipating part distant from the base;
- a heat pipe inserted into the sleeve and extending along a lengthwise direction of the sleeve;
- and
- a plurality of fins disposed on the heat dissipating part of the sleeve.
