Abstract
An ink set for inkjet recording includes an ink composition containing a pigment; and a reaction liquid containing: a solvent and an organic acid which has a first acid dissociation constant (at 25° C.) of 1.5 to 4.5. A 10% by mass aqueous solution of the solvent has a surface tension (at 25° C.) of not less than 40 mN/m.

An ink set for inkjet recording comprising:
- an ink composition including a pigment;
- and
- a reaction liquid including a solvent and an organic acid which has a first acid dissociation constant (at 25° C.) of from 1.5 to 4.5, wherein
- a 10% by mass aqueous solution of the solvent has a surface tension (at 25° C.) of not less than 40 mN/m.
