Abstract
The present invention relates to fusion polypeptides including (a) a binding site for a cytoskeleton component and (b1) an effector protein or the catalytic domain thereof or (b2) a binding site for the effector protein, and nucleic acid sequences encoding the fusion polypeptides. Moreover, various therapeutic uses of the fusion polypeptides are described, e.g., the treatment of diseases associated with the presence of an aberrant cell population, preferably cancer or AIDS.
Claims20
A fusion polypeptide comprising (a) a binding site for a cytoskeleton component and (b1) an effector protein or the catalytic domain thereof or (b2) a binding site for said effector protein, wherein said cytoskeleton component is tropomyosin, tubulin or gelsolin, said binding site is derived from parvovirus NS1 and said effector protein is casein kinase II (CKIIα).
A nucleic acid sequence encoding a fusion polypeptide comprising (a) a tropomyosin binding site derived from parvovirus minute virus of mice (MVMp) non-structural protein (NS-1) covalently linked to (b1) a casein kinase IIα (CKIIα) or the catalytic domain of CKIIα or (b2) a CKIIα binding site derived from casein kinase IIβ (CKIIβ).
A fusion polypeptide comprising (a) a tropomyosin binding fragment of Minuter virus of Mice (MVM) non-structural protein (NS)-1, and (b1) catalytic domain of casein kinase II-alpha (CKIIα) or (b2) a binding site for (CKIIα).
A fusion polypeptide comprising (a) a binding site for a cytoskeleton component and (b1) an effector protein or the catalytic domain thereof or (b2) a binding site for said effector protein, wherein said cytoskeleton component is tropomyosin, tubulin or gelsolin, said binding site is derived from parvovirus NS1, said effector protein is casein kinase II (CKIIα), and said binding site for said effector protein comprises the amino acid sequence DLEPDEELED (SEQ ID NO:
- 2).
