Flexible substrate, manufacturing method of display element, and manufacturing apparatus of display element

A flexible substrate that has a first surface and a second surface that is an opposite surface thereof, comprising:

• a first partition wall for a display element that is formed in the first surface;
• and
• a second partition wall that is formed in the second surface.

A flexible substrate that has a first surface and a second surface that is an opposite surface thereof, and in which a display element is formed in the first surface, comprises a partition wall that is formed in the second surface and that has a depth that is approximately 1/10 or more a thickness of the flexible substrate.

A manufacturing apparatus of display element forms the display element in a flexible substrate that has a first surface and a second surface that is an opposite surface thereof, the manufacturing apparatus comprising:

• a processing section that performs a process at a predetermined position between first partition walls that are formed in the first surface;
• and
• a transportation section that is disposed opposite the processing section and that has a shape that engages with second partition walls that are formed in the second surface.

A method for manufacturing a display element that forms the display element in a flexible substrate that has first partition walls for the display element that are formed in a first surface and second partition walls that are formed in a second surface that is an opposite surface of the first surface, the method comprising:

• performing a process at a predetermined position between the first partition walls,
• wherein the performance of the process performs the process in a range in which a transportation section that has a shape engages with the second partition walls and the flexible substrate being contacted.
