Abstract
Embodiments of the present invention relate to a Surrounding Neighbors based Autocalibrating Partial Parallel Imaging (SNAPPI) approach to MRI reconstruction. Several 2D PPI reconstruction methods may be provided by applying SNAPPI to recover the partially skipped k-space data along two PE directions separately or non-separately, in k-space or in the hybrid k-space and image-space.
Claims33
A method comprising:
- identifying a missing data point from one receiver coil of a plurality of receiver coils, wherein said missing data point is not acquired due to partially parallel imaging;
- forming an interpolation net having weights comprising said missing data point and acquired data points from said plurality of receiver coils, wherein said acquired data points surround said missing data point;
- estimating said weights of said interpolation net using additionally acquired data points surrounding said missing data point;
- and
- reconstructing said missing data point using said weights of said interpolation net.

A device comprising:
- a processor for identifying a missing data point from one receiver coil of a plurality of receiver coils, wherein said missing data point is not acquired due to partially parallel imaging;
- the processor for forming an interpolation net having weights comprising said missing data point and acquired data points from said plurality of receiver coils, wherein said acquired data points surround said missing data point;
- the processor for estimating said weights of said interpolation net using additionally acquired data points surrounding said missing data point;
- and
- the processor for reconstructing said missing data point using said weights of said interpolation net.

A processor-readable storage medium having stored thereon instruction that when executed by a processor, result in at least:
- identifying a missing data point from one receiver coil of a plurality of receiver coils, wherein said missing data point is not acquired due to partially parallel imaging;
- forming an interpolation net having weights comprising said missing data point and acquired data points from said plurality of receiver coils, wherein said acquired data points surround said missing data point;
- estimating said weights of said interpolation net using additionally acquired data points surrounding said missing data point;
- and
- reconstructing said missing data point using said weights of said interpolation net.
