Abstract
A display apparatus includes a display panel and a chassis base on the display panel, wherein at least a portion of a periphery of the display panel contact the chassis base. An area of the chassis base may be equal to or larger than an area of the display panel.

- a plasma display panel;
- and
- a chassis base on the plasma display panel, wherein at least a portion of the periphery of the plasma display panel contacts the chassis base.
