Abstract
The invention is for a cubic nitride compact comprising a polycrystalline mass of cubic boron nitride particles, present in an amount of at least 70 percent by volume and a binder phase, which is metallic in character. The invention extends to a compact in which the binder phase is preferably superalloy in character.
