Abstract
A method and system for displaying a list of documents on a desktop background on a computing device including assigning each user from a group of users to a group membership being selected from among a plurality of group memberships. An electronic file may be determined for users assigned to the selected group membership. The electronic file may be assigned as a desktop background on a computing device of each user assigned to the group membership, the assignment of the electronic file operable to cause the electronic file to be displayed as the desktop background, the electronic file including a predetermined listing of links of documents associated with the group membership.

A method for displaying a list of documents on a desktop background on a computing device, said method comprising:
- assigning each user from a group of users to a group membership being selected from among a plurality of group memberships;
- determining an electronic file for users assigned to the selected group membership;
- and
- assigning the electronic file as a desktop background on a computing device of each user assigned to the group membership, the assignment of the electronic file operable to cause the electronic file to be displayed as the desktop background, the electronic file including a predetermined listing of links of documents associated with the group membership.
A method for displaying a list of documents on a desktop background on a computing device, said method comprising:
- determining a vertical group membership of a user;
- determining a horizontal group membership of the user;
- generating an electronic file for the user based on the vertical group membership and the horizontal group memberships of the user;
- and
- assigning the electronic file as a desktop background on a computing device of the user, the assignment of the electronic file operable to cause the electronic file to be displayed as the desktop background, the electronic file including a predetermined listing of links of documents.
A system for generating and communicating a list of documents for display on a desktop background on a computing device, said system comprising:
- a processor;
- and
- a memory;
- wherein said processor is configured to:
- assign each user from a group of users to a group membership, the group membership being selected from among a plurality of group memberships;
- determine an electronic file for users assigned to the selected group membership;
- and
- assign the electronic file as a desktop background on a computing device of each user assigned to the group membership, the assignment of the electronic file operable to cause the electronic file to be displayed as the desktop background, the electronic file including a predetermined listing of links of documents associated with the group membership.
